Burning Bright

French guys adding some sensitivity to the modern breed of crust with a really catchy mix of hardcore, post-hardcore and emo-ish stuff. Kinda how Buried Inside would sound if they had a baby with Wow, Owls! Kinda.

Arsen AKA König Der Monster

Bremen fucking classic hardcore/metal band. Best mixture of crust, emoviolence and black metal ever.

La Letra Pequeña

First stuff of these guys bringing intense and dark sounds from Madrid, FFO His Hero is Gone and Portraits of Past

Clinging To The Trees Of A Forest Fire / Nesseria

Another email request form Throatruiner records, this time is a split that in first place star with Clinging To The Trees of a Forest Fire from USA and their killer "blackened grindcore" with a bit sludge parts sound, in the other hand Nesseria from France mixing metal, mathcore and crust in a good way.

Tempest

From Canada comes a real smash, their last work called Passages is an awesome mix of genres like if One Eyed God Prophecy take a time machine to today, they're so brilliant! I'm still puzzled with their sound.

Year of The Flood

Other band from With Hunter Records, "4 tracks of epic post-crust that mixes raging d-beat with epic sludge parts" ENJOY!

12/03/11

Geraniüm

Epic neocrust from france. Similar to Battle of Wölf 359

Pd: Cannot find a decent picture

Youwretch

Email request from Minneapolis with strong and fast music of their last EP released in January.

Gallhammer

Three tokyo gals got together around 2003 to take Hellhammer spirit to the down-tempo arena, and it turned into a really curious doom/buracku metarr with some punx popping sometimes. A non-stock band you should definitely not miss.

I Exist

Excellent mix of sounds from Australia, maybe like Dangers having hard sex with Omega Massif.

Low Places

Love Places again! They surprised us with their very good demo cassette, here is their new ST, coming out at the end of the year en Recession Records.

6 tracks like 6 headshots with your mouth open, strong and devastating! Try!

Vestiges

By request of the band:

"Vestiges formed in January of 2010 as a two-piece band. Influenced by hardcore, black metal, crust, screamo, and post-rock, the band set out to incorporate elements of each genre to articulate their message both musically and lyrically. A third member was added to the band shortly before entering the studio to record The Descent Of Man. The band plans to release two more albums, an EP and a LP, in order to complete their narrative. The band and a filmmaker are currently in the process of producing a film to visually capture the theme of The Descent Of Man."

IMO a really great music project that you must check it.

Low Places

Very interesting email request of this band from California with members of CTL and Duke Nukem Forever here is their demo cassette that will be released this month, if you like Mind Eraser, Cursed or Tragedy TRY WITH LOW PLACES!

Hammers

Today the bring the crustymosh wiht Punch and Comadre in London, i hope to be there.
Link contains their latest Lp.

Desidia

One of most interesting works in 2009, these guys mix screamo and post rock with bit parts of crust, the result is starling.

04/03/10

Uranus

One of the first bands to introduce the crust punk formula into a darker atmosphere (moving debris sampling along with lower notes and such). Dig the lyrics if you have the time also, as the recording lacks vocal quality.

From these guys comes my nickname by the way ;D

Aguirre & Hongo Split

Doom-ish frenchmen Aguirre get together with spanish crusties Hongo (shown in the image) to bring us a 4 track 40 minutes long split, filled with a really dark atmosphere. One of those albums that you want to listen quietly, almost in grief, but frown when it's over and listen to it again, like if you were being sucked by it.
