Zairus

Myspace
My friend Rasky sent me an invitation to participate on this great blog, so here is my first entry:
Zairus was a post Ictus project with an unfortunately short life in time. This is the only record they have, recorded in 2008 but unreleased.
They practice a psychedelic sludge with a dark hardcore sound. For me it sounds like if you mixture first Baroness with some Omar Rodríguez-López psychedelic and progressive guitar work, but in a more hardcore way of course.
This is a very original and amazing stuff you should not miss!!

Daleth
An interesting email request:
"Daleth is a one man band featuring J. Merrill (ex-Noah's Apathy, Rowdy Towdy, Esteem, City of Liars, Asthmatics, and more). Using only one microphone, songs are constructed recording random drum tracks. The tracks are then pieced together to create complete songs. These blown-out, heavy sludge songs are heavily influenced by FLOOR, KYLESA, DOVE, and even TORCHE. "

Uranus
One of the first bands to introduce the crust punk formula into a darker atmosphere (moving debris sampling along with lower notes and such). Dig the lyrics if you have the time also, as the recording lacks vocal quality.
From these guys comes my nickname by the way ;D
